A lot of people like to throw the term “multitalented” around, but it’s almost an understatement when it comes to Max. He’s a singer, songwriter, actor, dancer, and model…all by the age of 25. Growing up in New York, he cut his acting chops on Broadway before eventually heading to the small screen, appearing in several Nickelodeon productions.

In the past couple of years, he has shifted his attention to music. His third album “Hell’s Kitchen Angel” features the smash hit single “Lights Down Low,” a song he used to propose to his now-wife, Emily. You can feel the love when Max performs it at West of the Fest 2018!

Based in Los Angeles, newly-formed alt trio lovelytheband is ready to rock West of the Fest 2018!  The group formed in 2016 and released their EP “Everything I could Never Say” late last year.  Singing about issues of depression and anxiety, their single “Broken” is on its way to becoming a huge hit.  Vocalist Mitchy Collins adds, “Everyone is a little broken inside, nobody’s perfect.  This song is an ode to the broken ones.”

Welshly Arms

After playing SXSW and Austin City Limits in recent years, Welshly Arms make their triumphant return to Austin for West of the Fest 2018!  They bring us their unique gritty blues and rock sound from Cleveland, Ohio.  Since releasing their debut EP in 2013, they have honed their sound and are now ready to be “Legendary,” the name of their hit single.

Lead singer Sam Getz said, “I hope people notice what we put into this.  With every gig, we want to put on a show and have fun with the audience.  On the records, I hope you can hear our enjoyment in making music.  I want everybody to share that when they hear it.”  Don’t miss your chance to share in the sound of Welshly Arms at West of the Fest!

Logan Henderson

After conquering the Hollywood scene for years, this Texas boy is coming home for West of the Fest!  Logan grew up just outside of Dallas and took his acting dreams to Hollywood at the age of 18.  He soon made those dreams a reality, starring in the wildly popular Nickelodeon series Big Time Rush!  The show coincided with the band’s music and after years of a successful TV show, movie, albums and tours, the guys went their separate ways to pursue solo careers. Logan’s latest single is “Bite My Tongue”.  He explains it like this: “it’s about having that person in your life that encourages you to tell the truth and encourages you to be the truest self and be the person you want to be”.  We can’t wait to check it out at West of the Fest this year!

Nina Nesbitt

All the way from The U.K., we are excited to welcome Nina Nesbitt to West of the Fest 2018! Born and raised in Scotland, she has been writing music since the age of 10. Over the past few years, she has been honing her unique sound of pop poetry and is about to embark on her first full tour of the USA. Her new single, “Somebody Special”, talks about finding your own self-worth through the eyes of an admirer. We think you’ll find Nina Nesbitt to be somebody VERY special at West of the Fest!

Jade Bird

Years ago, Mix 94.7 welcomed a young singer-songwriter from the United Kingdom named Ed Sheeran to West of the Fest.  Checking all those boxes this year is up and coming songstress Jade Bird!  Based in London, Rolling Stone magazine describes her vocals as “raw and robust” and named her as an artist to watch after her debut EP “Something American” dropped last summer.  After playing various tour dates across the country(including a performance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert), Jade comes back to Austin to play for you at West of the Fest 2018!

Keelan Donovan

Based in Nashville, we are excited to welcome Keelan Donovan to Austin for West of the Fest!   After graduating from Belmont University in 2012, Keelan quickly immersed himself in the Music City music scene.  After touring the country for a couple of years, he signed a deal with Big Yellow Dog Records in 2016, a label home to such stars as Maren Morris and Meghan Trainor.  His music has also been featured on several TV shows, such as ABC’s “Nashville.”  Be sure to catch this up and coming singer-songwriter at West of the Fest this year!

Whitney Woerz

West of the Fest has always been a home for the stars of tomorrow, and that certainly applies to 17 year-old Whitney Woerz!  She comes to us from New York City’s High School of the Performing Arts-and despite her young age, she has been writing and singing for several years.  Her single “Idea of Her” speaks to the idea of being your true self and not a projection of what you think others want to see.  It’s an idea that’s important to Whitney-she also works closely with anti-bullying campaigns.  And her message is certainly gathering an audience-the youtube video for “Idea of Her” has over 19 million views!
